Parenting is a pattern of interaction between parents and children, namely how the attitudes or behavior of parents when interacting with children, including how to apply rules, teach values/norms, give attention and affection and show good attitudes and behavior, so that they are used as role models for children. his son. Single parents are parents who are alone or single raising their children without the presence, support, and responsibilities of their partners. Religious development is a form of one's actions or actions as a manifestation of one's knowledge, belief and appreciation of the teachings he believes in in the form of worship rituals such as prayer, good deeds, fasting, and morals. The purpose of this study was to determine the religious development of children, to find out the parenting patterns of single parent parents in the development of children's diversity, and to find out the constraints of Single Parent Parents in the development of children's religious diversity in the village of Kotanegara, Madang Tribe II District, East OKU Regency. This type of research is a descriptive case study. The subjects in this study were 5 parents and the village head. Data collection techniques in this study through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study the development of religious children who are cared for by single parent (mother) parents in Kotanegara village is good. Single parent parenting (mother) in Kotanegara village uses democratic parenting and permissive parenting in developing children's diversity, and the obstacles of single parent parents in developing religious attitudes in children are three, namely the first obstacles that come from within the child's personality. such as children who do not want to be educated, both economic conditions that must be met independently so that the lack of attention to children and environmental factors that result in children often forgetting time to carry out their obligations.
