The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship between sense of humor and academic stress in class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Lilin. The population in this study were students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Lilin totaling 300 students. The sampling technique used in this study is to look at the table developed by Isaac and Michael with an error rate of 5%, namely 169 students. This study uses a quantitative correlation method and emphasizes data analysis in the form of numbers that can be processed using SPSS statistics Version 28.0 for windows. Based on the normality test, it can be seen that the significant value for the academic stress variable is (0.009
