The reaction of the Iraqi press against alarming orders and crippling resolutions 1929-1936. e-jOURNAL

It is possible to consider the relationship between official authorities and journalism in Iraq during the royal reign one of the most problematic issues, where these authorities endeavored to obstruct the work of journalism and restrict its freedom for the sake of imposing de facto. But it does not come to their minds that preventing journalism and muffling its freedom is like changing the reality by breaking a mirror. Therefore, these authorities worked to enact many laws and orders to lessen the freedom of journalism. In contrast, these journals kept on their obstinacy and confrontation continuously. Through this paper, I aimed to bring this problematic issue to existence.
