Dilbilimsel Çözümlemelerin Hadislerin Anlaşılmasında Kullanımı: İbn Huzeyme’nin Sahîh’i Özelinde. E-Jurnal

In order to understand the hadith and derive judgements from them, the narratives were
examined in many ways in terms of isnad and text. Fiqh al-hadith, a sub-discipline
developed by the Ahl al-hadith against the methodological remarks of the Ahl al-ra’y
scholars, is based on understanding the narratives and making judgments, especially on the
basis of lexical elements. When the issue is considered from this point of view, the subject
of the study is the efforts of the Ahl al-Hadith to interpret the narratives by using linguistic
elements directly or indirectly and the results of this. The aim of the study is to reveal the
contribution of grammatical or semantic elements in understanding the hadiths in the
context of the features of the Arabic language and at the same time to reveal the possible
consequences of this. Because of the fact that the Ahl al-hadith includes a very wide
spectrum and does not have a homogeneous structure in itself, in the study it has been
limited to a scholar such as Ibn Huzeyme whose competence is known in the fields of fiqh
al-hadith and ikhtilāf al-hadith. This article discusses the data of Arabic language sciences
and hadith sciences comparatively and deals with the value of the word and the level of its
sufficiency in itself in terms of understanding the hadiths and making judgments on them.
