Information about a round table organized by the International Association of Middle Eastern Studies at the "2010 World Congress of Middle East Studies" held in Barcelona, Spain is presented. The aim of the round table was to bring to the attention of the global community of Middle East Studies academics and policy makers a new form of attack on critical thought and journalism. The round table was focused on the attempt to sanction the Lebanon-based Al-Adab literary journal.
