The Freedom Forum has initiated a two year Ph.D. program for journalists which provides them with a stipend while they pursue their education in the University of North Carolina School of Journalism and Mass Communication in Chapel Hill. The program is intended to produce journalism faculty who integrate work experience and educational qualification. This will provide students exposure to practitioners and researchers.
