The mechanism of moderation in spending to avoid extravagance and stinginess - Theoretical and applied study -. E-Jurnal

The researcher aims in this research to explain the danger and the phenomenon of
extravagance and stinginess and their effects in societies, and to lay down the Islamic
solution to the danger of the phenomenon of extravagance and insignificance, with an
explanation and clarification of the rule of extravagance and pauperization rejected in
the Sharia, and the rule of economics, which is moderation in spending ordered by
Islamic law .
Islam has commanded the nation to be straightforward in the moderation between
extravagance and mischief in the true Islamic religion. Sharia aims to achieve the
interest of the people and bring goodness and benefit to them, and it also aims to ward
off evil and harm from them at the same time. And just as he fights the scourge of
extravagance and extravagance, so he fights the scourge of miserliness and
miserliness, through the aforementioned mediation and moderation mechanism. As for
the research method: an economic research in which a theoretical and descriptive
study was used in which to explain the damages of extravagance and scantiness, the
Islamic solution to avoid them, and the ruling of all kinds of extravagance andpauperism and the rule of moderation between them. In this research, the researcher
reached conclusions, the most important of which is moderation in spending
(economy), a legitimate mechanism to avoid the phenomenon of extravagance and
scantiness, which is prohibited in Islam. Extravagance is the opposite of pauperism,
both of which are forbidden in Sharia, and there is the difference between economics
and moderation with piety, and the Sharia forbids both extravagance and pauperism at
the same time, and the necessity of economics on the Muslim, individually and
collectively.
As for the most important recommendations in this research, it is to move away
from extravagance, wastefulness and luxury, because extravagance of all kinds is the
cause of poverty and excessive sins, taboos and the pleasures of this worldly life, and
to move away from parsimony and miserliness that lead to stagnation, unemployment
and depression that afflicts society, and does not give zakat and alms to its miserliness,
thus contributing to the exacerbation of these problems. And we must be content,
because contentment and patience with moderation in spending required by Sharia
produces pride, and contentment is a treasure for a comfortable and comfortable life,
while care is a mineral of loss and vain.
