Islam has defined codified laws to regulate relations between
individuals and societies. Also the Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet
Mohammed, peace be upon him, set provisions and methods for how a
Muslim should deal with a Muslim and with a non-Muslim in a way
that guarantees the goodness of societies, and in a way that achieves
peace and success for these relations, and in this specificity of Islamic
law shows the depth of this religion and its doctrines intellectual and
behavioral patterns. This research deals with the mechanism of this
interaction between Muslims and Non-Muslims, and accordingly, the
main question of this research is: "What is the strategy of dealing with
Non-Muslims according to the Qur'an and the Sunnah, and what is
the impact of this dealing on the individual and society?"The
objectives of the research are achieved by presenting five chapters:
the first is the theoretical and methodological framework for the
research, then the second chapter discusses the correct standards
accepted by Islam for Muslims to deal with each other, while the third
chapter discussing dealing with Non-Muslims according to theQur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammed, while the fourth
chapter details the principle of respect for difference and acceptance
Pluralism and its importance. The fifth chapter contains the positive
effects of the mechanism of peaceful dealing with Non-Muslims,
whether at the level of the individual or at the level of Muslim and
Non-Muslim society.
