The purpose of this study was to : 1) test whether there was an effect of the Edmodo applications on student learning outcomes in the material for class XI IPA SMAN 2 Empat Lawang buffer solution. 2) test whether difference in the learning outcomes of class XI science students with buffer solution material at SMAN 2 Empat Lawang between learning using Edmodo and convensional media. This research was conducted at SMAN 2 Empat Lawang in class XI IPA. The research method used in this research is Quasi Experiment with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Samples were taken by cluster random sampling. The research sample consisted of 64 students consisting of 32 students in the experimental class and 32 students in the control class . The research instrument used was a learning outcome test consisting of 20 multiple choice questions in the form of pretest and posttest. Data analysis of student learning outcomes used a ttest, namely the paired sample t test with a confidence level of = 0.05. Analysis of parametric statistical tests through SPSS software version 22. The test results obtained sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 or Ha is accepted. Learning using Edmodo media has a positive effect on student learning outcomes in the material for class XI IPA buffer solution at SMAN 2 Empat Lawang. Keywords: Edmodo, Learning Outcomes
