A non-linguistic is an actual or possible derivation from sentence, which is not associated with signs that have any original or primary intent of communication. Motivation, attitude, age, intelligence, aptitude, cognitive style, and personality are considered as factors that greatly influence someone in the process of his or her second language acquisition. In this book, the common non-linguistic factors will be discussed.
