STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN AKTIVITAS WISATA HALAL AL-QUR'AN AL-AKBAR KOTA PALEMBANG.--

This thesis research departs from the existence of the Koran which has attracted the attention of the world community and has become one of the main tourist attractions of Palembang city from South Sumatra. Moreover, because the Al-Qur'an was confirmed as the only one in the world and included in the list of the Indonesian Registration Museum (MURI), tourists from home and abroad also flocked to visit it. The formulation of the research problem is 1). What is the Strategy for Development of Halal Qur'an Al Akbar Tourism Activities in Palembang City? 2). What is the strategy for developing halal tourism Activities in the City of Palembang? This type of research is a field research with data sources, namely primary and secondary data sources. Data collection through interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative by describing and describing as clearly as possible all the problems in the problem formulation, systematically, factually and accurately. The conclusions of this study are 1). Al Qur'an Al Akbar is the largest Qur'an in the world made of wood carvings and is located on Jln. M. Amin Fauzi, Soak Bujang, Gandus District, Palembang City, South Sumatra. 2). The strategy for developing Halal Al Qur'an Al Akbar Tourism is by promoting it through social media so that the Al Qur'an Al Akbar is better known by both local and foreign tourists. Installing CCTV cameras, adding security, implementing health protocols and coordinating with local officials, such as the police. And cooperate with the Government to repair damaged roads and build toll roads so that tourists can easily visit the Al Qur'an Al Akbar. Keywords: Strategy, Al Qur'an Al Akbar, and Halal Tourism
