The city of Palembang has many social institutions such as orphanages, from the data from the Social Institution of Social Services for Palembang City, March 2020 there were 113 lists of orphanage names, with a total of 2,719 orphanages in Palembang City. To meet its operational needs, it still requires a lot of assistance from the government, the private sector and donors. Currently, information regarding the location of the orphanage is still very limited. This resulted in the fact that the existence of the orphanage was not widely known by the wider community, so that the donors had difficulty knowing complete information about the location of the orphanage in Palembang City. Mapping palembang city orphanages with the feature of registration of social activities based on WEB-GIS which is built using a prototype model system development method consisting of 5 stages (including: communication, planning, modeling, construction, submission). This system provides information about orphanages in palembang city, namely location points, orphanage names, addresses, administrators, the number of children in orphanages, which makes it easier for donors or the public to know information related to the location of orphanages in Palembang City.
