This research is entitled Shadows of the Political Power of Youth Volunteers for Democracy in Winning the Panca-Ardani Pair in the 2020 Pilkada (Case Study of Payaraman District, Ogan Ilir Regency), the RPOID Team is one of the teams that participated in winning the 2020 Panca-Ardani Pilkada Pair in Ogan Ilir Regency. This study was conducted to determine the role of the political power of the RPOID team in winning the Panca-Ardani pair and to determine the political relationship between the RPOID team before and after the Panca-Ardani victory. This study used descriptive qualitative research methods and the primary data in this study were the head of the RPOID sub-district team, members of the RPOID team, party cadre members, community leaders, youth leaders, while the secondary data were books, journals, documentation and information obtained. from agencies involved in research problems. The research technique of collecting data is based on the results of observations, documentation and interviews. The data analysis technique used qualitative analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of this thesis research indicate that the role of the Ogan Ilir Youth Volunteer team for Democracy is an active and useful youth movement in the victory of the Panca-Ardani pair in the 2020 elections, because it can influence both youth and adults. Before the victory of the Panca-Ardani pair, the RPOID team became the dominant position and after the victory the Panca-Ardani pair became a weakness in the position / bureaucrats in the form of political promises that were not fulfilled, finally RPOID was moved by a group of social agents to win the Panca-Ardani pair. And before the victory of the Panca-Ardani pair, the volunteer team became a bulwark of political power and after the victory became passive (inactive).
