Name : Ulfah Melliani Study Progam / Faculty : Islamic Pschology / Psychology Title : Relationship between fear of missing out and social media addiction in Class 2018 Students of The Faculty of Psychology, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang The aim of this research is determined the correlation between fear of missing out and social media addiction. This research method is correlational quantitative. The samples included 128 students of the 2018 batch of pschology faculty at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The samples selected by the total sampling thecnique. The instruments uses are the fear of missing out scale and social media addiction scale. Data analyzed used correlation product moment by SPSS Ver. 25 windows showed that there was a relationship between fear of missing out and social media addction, p= 0,000 (p < 0,05). This research showed that there is a relationship between fear of missing out and social media addiction in college studens. Keywords: fear of missing out, social media addiction
