STUDENTS' PERCEPTIONS ON THE USE OF ZOOM APLICATION IN LISTENIING SKILL : A CASE STUDI AT SMA NEGERI 4 PALEMBANG.--

This study aimed to find out the students’ perceptions on the use of Online learning in listening skill at SMA Negeri 4 Palembang. This study used qualitative research. One of the qualitative research designs applied in this study was case study design. Maximum variation was taken to choose as the participant, and six students of SMA Negeri 4 Palembang were chosen as the participants of this study based on their low, medium, and high achievement. In order to collect the data, face to face interview was done containing 9 items of the questions. Thematic analysis technique was used in analyzing the data. Regarding the result of this study. It was found that there were some perceptions towards the use of Online learning in listening skill, as follows: it is easy to use, easy to access, effective and time efficient. For the disadvantages of Zoom application were internet connection and difficult students’ interactions.
