INTEGRASI ILMU AGAMA ISLAM DAN SAINS DALAM PENDIDIKAN PERSPEKTIF MUHAMMAD FETHULLAH GULEN.--

One of the leading educational figures from Turkey is Fethullah Gülen with his Hizmet instilling his ideas on the integration of science and religion in the movement of service to all mankind regardless of ethnicity, race, religion. and culture. His thoughts are widely referenced by contemporary Islamic education thinkers because they are famous for their progressive thinking in facing the challenges of the times. The type of research used in this research is library research. Literature research is research that uses reading materials as a reference source. It means collecting data by reading, studying, understanding and analyzing documents related to the research. Data collection techniques used are documentation and observation. Meanwhile, the data analysis method used is content analysis. From the data collected and analyzed, the following results were found: Islamic religious knowledge according to Gulen is one of the main subject areas that must be studied by students, which aims to increase students' faith and piety. Whereas science directs intelligence towards happiness in the afterlife without expecting material gains, conducting tireless and detailed studies of the universe to find the absolute truth that underlies it. In its integration, Gulen proposes an education system that integrates science with moral values. Namely by establishing modern school education institutions based on science and religious knowledge.
