STUDENTS' PERCEPTIONS ON THE USE OF GOOGLE CLASSROOM IN ENGLISH WRITING ACTIVITIES: A CASE STUDY AT SMA ADABIYAH PALEMBANG.--
The study aimed at finding out the students’ perceptions at SMA Adabiyah Palembang on the use of Google Classroom in writing activities. This study used a qualitative research design with a case study with six participants taken by using maximum variation sampling method. The researcher used open-ended questions in an interview to obtain data that analyzed by using thematic analysis technique. The interviews were recorded and transcribed. The findings of this study shows that there were two benefits of students’ perceptions on the use of Google Classroom in writing activities such as: a) Google Classroom promoted some improvement in students’ vocabulary mastery, and b) Google Classroom promoted self-discipline among students, and two limitations of students’ perceptions, such as: a) Google Classroom was too dependent on internet connection, and b) Google Classroom did not improve the students’ grammar mastery.
