ABSTRACT Name : Rossy Pratiwi Study Program : Islamic Psychology Title : The Relationship Between Peer Social Support and Academic Procrastination in Students of SMA Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi Majoring in Social Sciences This study aims to determine the relationship between peer social support and academic procrastination in students of SMA Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi majoring in social studies. The research method used is correlational quantitative method. The subjects of this study were students of SMA Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi majoring in social studies grades 11 and 12. Sampling used in this study is a simple random sampling technique. The instruments used are the social support scale measured based on aspect of Cutrona and Gardner (2004) and the academic procrastination scale measured based on aspect of Sokolowska (2009).
