When Fiqh which is also entitled as Islamic Law adjudicates about a matter, it discusses the
matter pursuant to certain methods and bases. Even though these methods and bases which
are used for adjudicating are included basically in the books of procedures and regulations of
Fiqh, it is not always easy to understand the viewpoint and adjudication methods of Fiqh
about the current matters which are exceedingly complicated. Therefore, the legal evaluation
of Bitcoin which is the most current and complicated matter nowadays will be quite
informative in order to understand the viewpoint and adjudication methods of Fiqh against a
current matter. In this paper, by considering Bitcoin in the frame of garar, maslahat-ı
mursele, bey‘u’l-ma‘dûm, gambling and inheritance, the perspective of Fiqh against current
matters will be presented without conducting any adjudication purpose.
