AL-MUHSHANAAT DALAM Q.S AN-NUUR AYAT 4 (STUDI KOMPARATIF TAFSIR ADWA'UL BAYAN DAN AL-MUNIR)

Abstract This study aims to find out what is meant by al-muhshanaat in Q.S. an-Nuur verse 4 as a condition of having hadd 80 lashes, not receiving testimony forever and being punished as a wicked person against the adulterer. Knowing the similarities and differences between the interpretations of Adwa'ul Bayan and al-Munir in interpreting al�muhshanaat. This research uses the type of library research in which the data is taken from literature sources with documentation. The method of interpretation used is the method of interpretation of muqaran or comparison. This study concludes that there are slight differences between al-Syanqithi and Wahbah Zuhaily in interpreting lafadz al-muhshanaat. Al-syanqithi refers to the meaning contained in Q.S. an-Nisa: 25 that al�muhshanaat are people who protect themselves from indecent acts and do not commit adultery. Whereas Wahbah Zuhaily includes conditions in the 2 form of being mature, intelligent, independent, Muslim and having the character of iffah (self-care) as someone who is called al-muhshanaat.
