What affects attitudes towards government's role in solving unemployment? A comparative study of Great Britain and the United States. (e-journal)
Many public opinion researches have concluded that the formation of people's policy is directly related to socio economic status (SES). However, in studying the public's attitude towards government's role in solving unemployment, researchers have found that SES has an indirect affect in reducing income inequality in society. Researcher further argue that party affiliation is more important in Britain, while education and family income are important in the US.
