The study aimed to highlight the relationship between media sciences and economics by focusing on economic media as a form of development media that works to transfer and analyses economic information by linking it tot he changes taking place in society; especially with regard to issues related tot he economy. The study relied on the descriptive and analytical approach to monitor the economic media contents published by the Algerian media of all kinds (written, audio, audiovisual), as the study tries to clarify its role in awareness of development activities, as the study concluded that the media scene is directly related to the economic situation of the country The incomes of media institutions from advertising have improved with the occurrence of economic revival which led to the emergence of a large number of media institutions based on commercial thought, as the practice of economic media requires specialized training.
