The Role of Strategic Leadership Practices in Managing Economic Crises: A Field Study on the Palestinian Ministry of National Economy. e jurnal

The study aimed to determine the level of strategic leadership practices in the Palestinian Ministry of Economy and the impact on the economic crises management. The study population included all the Palestinian Ministry of National Economy employees in the southern governorates, totaling 100. The re-searcher used a questionnaire to collect data, where 40 questionnaires were collected for analysis purposes. The descriptive-analytical method was used to achieve the objectives of the study. The field study results showed interest from the Palestinian Ministry of National Economy in strategic leadership, as it obtained a high rating, with a relative weight of 72.58%. It was found that the ability of the Palestinian Ministry of National Economy to manage economic crises is high. The results also showed that 79.9% of the change in crisis management is due to strategic leadership, while 20.1% is due to other reasons. It was found that there is a positive and statistically significant direct relationship between the dimensions of strategic leadership and economic crisis management. The study recommends the need for the Ministry to pay attention to sup-porting creative people, allocating material and moral incentives to them, and working to provide a code of ethical behavior that they adhere to. The study al-so recommends training a leadership generation to confront and overcome crises by providing a modern information and communications unit to predict crises.
