COMPARATIVE STUDY OF AGRICULTURAL KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR AGRICULTURE DIRECTORATES IN SHARKIA AND NORTH SINAI GOVERNORATES. e jurnal

This search aimed to identify the characteristics of the researched in the two governorates, identifying the relative importance of the knowledge sources of extension services in the two governorates and identifying the knowledge management requirements in the two governorates. This research was conducted in two governorates, Sharkia and North Sinai, Egypt. The sample represents in North Sinai and 63 agricultural engineers working in the Directorate of Agriculture in Sharkia Governorate, which represents 15% of the total agricultural engineers in both governorates, where the number of agricultural engineers at the Directorate of Agriculture in North Sinai valued 624 agricultural engineer The number of agricultural engineers at the Directorate of Agriculture Directorate in Sharkia valued 421 agricultural engineer, and this sample of systematic random sampling was organized in all the necessary data on the questionnaire interview and data were collected during the period from July to August 2019, the results showed that 14.3% of respondents in Sharkia Governorate were in the youth category and 47.8% of respondents in the governorate were of middle age. 38.1% of the elderly, while 20.4% of the respondents in North Sinai were in the youth category, 45.2% of the respondents in the governorate were of average age and 34.4% of the elderly. 12.2% of all respondents in the two governorates did not receive training Nearly three-quarters of the respondents (72.2%) of the respondents were given a few training courses, 12.8% of the respondents received an average number of courses, and 2.6% of the respondents received a large number of courses. This means that the majority of respondents in the functional system in the two governorates under study received a small number of training courses, which indicates the need to pay attention to the training process to raise the skill of the training staff, and it was clear when comparing the average total degree of requirements of agricultural knowledge management from the viewpoint of the respondents between both governorates. North Sinai Governorate The average total degree of requirements was 104.78, which is higher than the average total degree of presence of agricultural knowledge management requirements in Sharkia governorate, which reached 101.19 and the overall average of the two study governorates was 103.3.
