Name : Levi Sulismi Study Program : Islamic Psychology/Psychology Title : The meaning of life for prostitutes in Kecamatan Belimbing Kabupaten Muara Enim This research discusses the meaning of life for prostituted women. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach aimed at seeing a picture of the meaning of life for prostituted women using interview, observation and documentation data collection methods. The subjects in this study were three female prostitutes. The results of the research show that the meaning of life of prostitutes for the three subjects has different descriptions, where the goal of their life is to change the lives of themselves and their families for the better. Their behavior is formed from the experience of failure in relationships with the opposite sex obtained from the life journey that each subject has experienced. Of the many experiences they have had, there are several experiences that have become a starting point in their lives to obtain guidance or guidelines for the life they live. The life guidelines that each subject has are realized in their daily behavior which directs them to activities that lead to a better life. Keywords : Meaning Of Life, Female Prostitutes
